Hot weather means shaved ice and power outages

Had Little Bean with the fellas. On a hot day, shaved ice always hits the spot.

Mom trying to fix an old flashlight. I told her a week ago that we needed to buy new flashlights but she didn’t listen. She never listens. Luckily I had my propane lamp handy. Prepared my first Bible study lesson by lamp light. Just like the old days.
Now it’s time for sleep. I hate you Snow Leopard.
Packed weekend
My nephews and niece are impossibly cute. Our church is slowly taking shape. I cut 20 strokes from the last time I golfed. Did a lot this weekend. Much of it involved family, golf, and church. Can’t get much better than that.
I need to study.
Family Vacation – San Francisco!
Here are some pictures as promised. Most of my pictures were of food, which according to 50, is a Korean thing to do. I’ll have a video up some time next week. Most definitely can’t do it this week!

It’s summa summa summa time!
As Californians, we don’t get to experience all four seasons. For me, I know it’s summer when we start to BBQ. So while it’s technically still spring, today marked the first day of MY summer. Since our family is busy this weekend, we decided to celebrate Mother’s Day a little early. Tonight’s menu? TACOS! We got the meat from my brother’s classmates’ Mexican market. It’s REALLY REALLY good! Caesar Chavez went once to pick some up. It’s that good.
I also had lunch with Garnet today at Islands. I haven’t been to Islands in a while, but apparently they have bottomless fries now! And they have this crazy lunch deal where you get a burger, drink, and bottomless fries for only $7.95!
I only post this picture because I’m a good friend. Yes, it was candid. I would be pretty lame if I posed like that :(
