Easy like pie
People say pie making isn’t easy. Well, it’s not hard either. Oh and that second picture? I know you’re thinking, “That looks like apple pie!” Well, you thought wrong. That pie was pure butter. With some apples. Good times.
Fosselman’s
Over Thanksgiving, a group of us went roaming around south Pasadena in search for sweet treats and good times. Despite some setbacks, we luckily got both. If you’ve never been to Fosselman’s, check it out! The dual top ice cream cone is not a manufacturing error gone right (or maybe it was), but it sure is pure genius. Their Sam Adam’s ice cream was super tasty also. Better than the Guinness flavored ice cream at Scoops.
Oh and Jesse’s mad rush to finish his ice cream so that he could try the Sam Adam’s ice cream? Priceless.
Hahahaha Japanese people are funny

My first fine dining experience
I ate at Cafe Pinot with Chicco this past Friday. I guess this is what you can call my first fine dining “premiere dining” experience. According to Dine LA’s website, it’s not even considered fine dining. It’s actually one under fine dining.
If I have to be brutally honest, the food was good, but not mind blowing. Would I pay $22 dollars again for the meal I ate? Probably. I’ve paid far more than $22 for mediocre food before [like Harris Ranch]. In any case, I realized that while I enjoy food, I will never be a foodie. Give me decent tasting food at a decent price and I will be more than happy.
Hot weather means shaved ice and power outages

Had Little Bean with the fellas. On a hot day, shaved ice always hits the spot.

Mom trying to fix an old flashlight. I told her a week ago that we needed to buy new flashlights but she didn’t listen. She never listens. Luckily I had my propane lamp handy. Prepared my first Bible study lesson by lamp light. Just like the old days.
Now it’s time for sleep. I hate you Snow Leopard.
