Newport Beach’s library is probably one of the best public libraries I’ve been to. Well, I haven’t been to many, but I think it’s much better than even Cerritos’ library. Sure Cerritos has an aquarium, giant dinosaur, and Aeron chairs, but the atmosphere isn’t quite nice. And there’s no place to study.

Newport has plenty of places to study, the air is fresh and well circulated and it’s QUIET. That and it’s only a stones throw away from the beach and good eats. If you need a place to study, this is it.

It was my parent’s 27th anniversary today. Had dinner and then went to the golf range. Shooting with the fisheye some more. I’m getting inconsistent results with the focus, but I’m not sure if it’s me or the lens. Gotta keep on shooting I guess.

The distortion is really dependent on how close things are to the lens. And if there aren’t any verticals, it’s really hard to notice the fisheye effect.

Edit: Found out what was wrong with the focus. I removed the clear filter behind the lens thinking it might hit the mirror. Well, the clear filter is needed to focus to infinity. I don’t think it affects sharpness too badly and the mirror clears the rear element with filter on.

Had dinner with Garnet and her roommate Janet last night. It’s strange how normal crazy people are when they aren’t surrounded by other crazies. Put two crazies together though… and things kind of go off. Had dessert at Hans. Seriously, the best ice cream I had in my life.

Won eating In N’ Out and King Taco. We also had Daikokuya, but it was too hot and too hectic to take a picture. You should have seen his expression while eating. It was like he never had good food in his life.
