Last prayer meeting…
For life! Just kidding! This morning was the last home group prayer meeting for the academic school year (and the last one for seniors!). It’s always encouraging to see people sacrifice a few hours of sleep in the morning to pray. Keep on trekking fellas.
These next couple of weeks will be a time of many “lasts.” Good thing that memories last forever. Just kidding. That was queso-y.
But when God closes a window… He opens a door.
Ok, I’m done. Bye.
As we go on, we remember
All the times we had together
And as our lives change, from whatever
We will still be, friends forever
Milk shakes at Ruby’s Shake Shack
It was a beautiful day and a few of us went out to grab some milk shakes with our guest of honor Joey!
I can’t believe I’ve never been to this shake shack until my last week of college. Had I known these milk shakes tasted this good, I would have come more often! By far the best milk shake I’ve ever had! Probably tasted good because of the good company!
Happy 19th kid!
Last core meeting… for life!
Today was a good day. We had a small BBQ and a good time at the pool. Irving got pushed into the jacuzzi and created a small scaled tidal wave which, luckily, missed my camera bag by just a few feet. Catherine on the other hand took it head on.
The most exciting part was to see John Chang and Wes step it up! It was seriously exciting to see them commit to the home group. Take care fellas.
After, we surprised Joey for her 19th birthday. Good times. College will soon be over. That makes me sad.

God is first, our sole (soul) desire
Fighting on with Holy fire
In our lives we move as ONE
To lead the lost to the SON
And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, for You, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You. — Psalm 9:10
What is up Westwood!
Drove up to Westwood yesterday to see some Open Door and HOC people. I didn’t realize this, but Westwood is pretty darn far. San Diego is 70 miles from Irvine and Westwood is 53 miles away. It’s not close, that’s for sure.
Ne-waiz, Liz, Yoonah, and Willy and I met up for lunch @ the Stand. It was really good! We were looking at the menu and Liz asked me what I was getting. I said, “the chicken club” and she looked at me like I was a girl and said, “REALLY?! I’m getting a chili cheese dog with cole slaw and fries!” I like that. Thanks for the gelato!

The heeby look is gross to begin with, but she can bring it out on command. Heebs.
Aftewards, I took Yoonah back to her work. It was like 5 minutes away, but she suddenly became my best friend and she calls me her little brother an ddong seng now. That was easy.
Then I tried to find parking for 30 minutes, but Westwood sucks and I couldn’t find any. But it was good to see Ashley and visit the HOC people and their homegroup. I actually got a lot of work done and was blessed by their meeting last night.

Heading up north tomorrow for a weekend spent with family, good food, and good wine. I hope I enjoy my first Napa experience. I always want to visit Alcatraz and if I’m in an especially daring mood, perhaps the Castro District, also known as the gay mecca (I swear I read this in one of the hotel pamphlets. I’m not a hater).
