The Open Door will be hosting Godfest ‘09 from October 16 to 18. The purpose of Godfest is to celebrate God and His church! A lot of times as Christians, we are so focused on our own churches that sometimes we lose sight of the bigger picture–THE Church, AKA, the Body of Christ.

Godfest will be a time where we can rally with churches from all over Southern California as One body. Our goal is to encourage and learn from one another and most definitely fellowship with one another! There will be guest speakers as well as seminars that all Christians will be able to relate to.

Don’t ever play Scattergories with church people or people you love. Well, don’t play boys vs girls and don’t play with cheaters. Men, that was disappointing.

Jane Kim on the other hand, dang. She is a woman of wisdom. If you fellas or ladies need any relationship advise, go to her. She won’t blow smoke. She speaks truth. Wise wise truth.

My weekends always look the same. Church, family, friends, golf. Rinse and repeat. I’m not complaining.

This weekend was no exception with a few exceptions. (1) Saw a truck get hit by a train, (2) had an official golf lesson with the Open Door, (3) started children’s ministry.
