You can hear Josh, the zoo keeper, talk about interesting tidbits in the first half (but his speciality is in reptiles). The bears in the second half remind me of Dave.

My good friend Garnet is collecting old shoes to donate to Haiti. If you have any shoes you’d like to donate, please bring them to HOC Hacienda Heights (talk to Mike Liu) or the Open Door THIS SUNDAY and she’ll make sure they get to people who need them. If you can, please bring them in a grocery bag and give them a decent cleaning.

Also, remember to keep Haiti and it’s people in your prayers. I know I’m guilty of forgetting, but disasters don’t get better right away!

Bring those shoes and keep praying!

Over Thanksgiving, a group of us went roaming around south Pasadena in search for sweet treats and good times. Despite some setbacks, we luckily got both. If you’ve never been to Fosselman’s, check it out! The dual top ice cream cone is not a manufacturing error gone right (or maybe it was), but it sure is pure genius. Their Sam Adam’s ice cream was super tasty also. Better than the Guinness flavored ice cream at Scoops.

Oh and Jesse’s mad rush to finish his ice cream so that he could try the Sam Adam’s ice cream? Priceless.

These are hilarious. I always LOL when I see them on TV, particularly the pony one, but only because Garnet never got one.
