LACMA and fine dining

At the LACMA. Sorry for the ugly white balance. :/

Won eating In N’ Out and King Taco. We also had Daikokuya, but it was too hot and too hectic to take a picture. You should have seen his expression while eating. It was like he never had good food in his life.
Keep moving forward
Men, it’s been a long war, it’s been a tough war. You’ve fought bravely, proudly for your country. You’re a special group. You’ve found in one another a bond, that exists only in combat, among brothers. You’ve shared foxholes, held each other in dire moments. You’ve seen death and suffered together. I’m proud to have served with each and every one of you. — German General, Band of Brothers
Just got back from a trip to Seattle for our mission team reunion. It was really great to see the team again and to be able to share some of our life visions with one another. I’ve learned a lot about my team members over this past weekend and am excited to see that a lot of us have similar visions for our futures. I know that these relationships will last a life time.
The key to these relationships is to keep moving forward (hah, another line from Band of Brothers). It’s easy for us to become nostalgic and reminisce about the good times. To some point, it’s healthy, but to an extreme, it becomes a leash that binds us from pressing on [Wonny, this is mainly directed towards you buddy :) ]. Keep moving forward.
In any case, I had a great time in Seattle. You can’t go wrong with good company and lots of good food. Seriously, all we did was eat, but there’s nothing wrong with that. See you guys in another life (just kidding)! If you’re ever down here, give me a call!
