A twist on painting with light
Studio Orta started an interesting project using high tech light projectors. They project images or patterns onto landscapes or buildings as a form of art. They can pretty much use any THING as their canvas, not just a particular medium. Since I’m what you would call a “purist,” I’m not that big of a fan of their work, but I still think its pretty neat.
For their next project, they should shine a picture of Ansel Adam’s face onto Half Dome. Now THAT would be cool.
